The House Committee on Retirement killed legislation on Wednesday {HB 468, Rep Odinet}adding the Department of Health and Hospitals to the group exempt from the abolition of vacant postions under the Early Retirement and Payroll Reduction Act of 2006.
In other action, the committee deferred action on a bill {HB 788, Rep Doerge} to allow a group of employees who entered DROP on or before December 31, 2002 to rescind their participation.
