LASERS Executive Director to Participate in Retirement Panel Discussion April 18

LASERS Executive Director Cindy Rougeou will participate with current and former lawmakers in a panel discussion on Wednesday, April 18 at Drusilla Seafood, 3482 Drusilla Lane, Baton Rouge at 11:30 a.m.

The League of WoMen Voters of Baton Rouge will host the discussion entitled, “The Facts, The Fiction, Political Myth, and the Financial Impact of the Public Retirement Systems.” In addition to Rougeou, panelists include Senate Retirement Committee Chair Elbert Guillory, House Retirement Committee Chair Kevin Pearson, Democratic Caucus Chair John Bel Edwards, former Senate Retirement Committee Chair Butch Gautreaux, and retired Civil Service Director / Retired State Employees Association (RSEA) board member Allen Reynolds.
