The new LASERS Member Connection email system is now “live,” and more than 29,000 LASERS members are expected to receive their first email in the coming days. Created in time for the start of the 2012 Legislative Session, Member Connection is a trusted source for updates on retirement legislation and issues that may affect benefits.
LASERS Member Connection service will include notifications with links to important, time-sensitive information, electronic publications such as The Beam, and advanced registration for LASERS seminars and meetings.
LASERS members with valid email addresses will automatically receive the first email, but have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the service at any point in the future. Members may enroll in Member Connection by simply visiting the LASERS Member Self-Service portion of the website and adding or updating their account email addresses.
Members are encouraged to add LASERS to their Address Book to ensure Member Connection emails pass through spam filters.
