Final Week for Retirees to Vote in 2011 LASERS Board of Trustees Election

Voting for retired candidates in the 2011 LASERS Board of Trustees Election closes at 4:30 p.m., Central Time on Friday, October 28. As this portion of the election process comes to an end, LASERS would like to remind our active and retired members of other key dates as the returns are processed, and publication of the results is certified by the LASERS Board.

October 28, 2011:

Votes must be received by 4:30 p.m. (Central Time)

November 2, 2011:

Votes tallied and verified

November 18, 2011:

Board certifies and authorizes publication of ballot count

January 2012:

Newly elected Trustees receive orientation and are sworn in

As you may recall, three active candidates qualified for the three active positions. On July 22, 2011 the LASERS Board of Trustees certified these candidates—Thomas Bickham, Sheryl Ranatza, and Shannon Templet — as winners of the positions, eliminating the need for an active member election.
