La. tax amnesty set for September, October

Louisiana residents who owe back taxes have a two-month window to pay up without a penalty charge.

The program will allow taxpayers to settle account balances and overdue audit assessments with no penalties.

Delinquent taxpayers still must pay half the interest on what they owe.
