This is a time when scam artists are trying to steal your holiday spirit by stealing your identity! Here are some tips to help keep you and your "money" safe.
• While you’re shopping—in the malls and online, beware of leaving your credit card out where others can see it.
• Don’t use your credit card on a computer that has an unsecure connection (So many people love the convenience of going “wireless” but make sure you’re still secure before purchasing online).
• Don’t carry your social security card with you, incase someone snatches your wallet in the hustle and bustle!
• If you’re traveling, keep hotel key cards close by or cut them up when you leave your room.
