Jindal sets agenda for upcoming special session to include payment to UAL

Governor Bobby Jindal will seek legislative approval to spend the state’s $1.1 billion surplus on various projects including payment of $70 million toward the state’s unfunded accrued liability. Other projects include $500 million for roads, $300 million for coastal restoration and $50 million for LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center.
