House Bill 439 by Representative Jean Doerge will be considered by the full House after it gained approval Thursday in the House Committee on Retirement.
HB 439 Provides relative to DROP re-deposits for members of Teachers'
Retirement System of Louisiana and Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System who received qualified hurricane distributions pursuant to the Katrina Emergency Tax Relief Act of 2005 or the Gulf Opportunity Zone Act of 2005.
