Individual retirement counseling sessions have been scheduled for 2007 in Monroe, Louisiana. These sessions are for active regular members of LASERS who are within 18 months of eligibility for retirement or DROP. Each individual counseling session will last for 30 minutes. Only a limited number of appointments are available on each of the following dates:
March 14 & 15, 2007 – Registration deadline is February 23, 2007
May 2 & 3, 2007 – Registration deadline is April 13, 2007
July 26 & 27, 2007 – Registration deadline is July 6, 2007
September 26 & 27, 2007 – Registration deadline is September 7, 2007
Appointments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Individual counseling appointments are for active members of LASERS only, and are not available to LASERS members in the following membership categories:
Correctional officers, security personnel, probation & parole officers of Department of Public Safety and Corrections;
Peace Officers with Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of State Police:
Wildlife Agents employed by the Enforcement Division of LA Wildlife and Fisheries Commission;
Legislators, Clerk of the House of Representatives, President or Secretary of the Senate, Governor, Lt. Governor and Treasurer;
Judges and Court Officers;
Bridge Police Employees for the Crescent City Connection, Department of Transportation and Development
LASERS individual counseling sessions will be held at the State Office Building, LA Department of Revenue office, 122 St. John Street, 1st Floor, Monroe, Louisiana.
